Mr Iqbal Uddin works as Director at COAST Foundation (https://coastbd.net) in Bangladesh. He has over 22 years of experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL), humanitarian and development programmes, and conducting research and advocacy on various issues, including the localisation of aid at national and international levels. COAST is a founding member of A4EP. Iqbal represented A4EP at the Grand Bargain Caucus on Funding for Localisation (2022- 2023) and advocated for preparing a roadmap for donor countries with 25% direct funding to local/national actors. He is also the focal point of Sphere Community Bangladesh. His previous roles include positions at BRAC and RDRS Bangladesh.
