Josephine Alabi is the Executive Director of Keen and Care Initiative (KCI) in Nigeria. She is experienced in the fields of Peace and Security, Research, Humanitarian issues, Human Rights, Gender, Extractive issues (Oil, Gas & Mining), Migration, Cross-border trade issues, Elections, Arms Trade Treaty (ATT), Global partnership, etc. Josephine studied Pure and Applied Mathematics in her first degree and Economics in her higher degrees. She is also part of different sectors and networks within and outside Africa. She had the opportunity to be part of some very important missions. Josephine Alabi also works closely with some other organisations, e.g., International Action Network on Small Arms (IANSA); Gender Equality Network on Small Arms Control (GENSAC); Peace and Security Cluster, African Union (AU) ECOSOCC; Democracy Without Borders (DWB); Global Interagency Security Forum (GISF); International Code of Conduct (ICoCA); Alliance for Empowering Partnership (A4EP), etc. In addition, her work promotes and supports the Global Partnership Campaign. Josephine is currently the A4EP Sherpa to the Grand Bargain platform.
