Palwashay Arbab is a humanitarian leader with over 14 years of experience managing multi‑donor emergency and development programmes across Asia, with a strong focus on localisation, accountability, and principled humanitarian action. She currently serves as Global Head of Visibility, Stakeholder Engagement & Inclusive Protection at Community World Service Asia and is a Board Member of the CHS Alliance. Palwashay has advanced donor engagement, gender‑inclusive programming, safeguarding standards, and organisational visibility, while consistently championing the leadership of local actors in fragile and high‑risk contexts. She has led humanitarian responses and advocacy work in Japan, Myanmar, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the Philippines, and spearheaded advocacy for gender justice, accountability to affected populations, and inclusive communication that amplifies community voices.
